कुटुम्बभरणासक्तो नित्यकालं हि तिष्ठति ॥ स्नानं दानं जपं होमं देवार्चां न करोति सः ॥

kuṭumbabharaṇāsakto nityakālaṃ hi tiṣṭhati || snānaṃ dānaṃ japaṃ homaṃ devārcāṃ na karoti saḥ ||

కుటుంబపోషణలో ఆసక్తుడై అతడు నిత్యం అదే పనిలో ఉండెను. ధార్మికస్నానం, దానం, జపం, హోమం, దేవార్చన ఏదీ చేయడు.
