सत्येन दीयते कन्या सत्यं जल्पन्ति ब्राह्मणाः ॥ सत्योत्तीर्णा हि राजानः सत्येन वसुधा धृता ॥
satyena dīyate kanyā satyaṃ jalpanti brāhmaṇāḥ | satyottīrṇā hi rājānaḥ satyena vasudhā dhṛtā ||
సత్యం వల్లే కన్యాదానం జరుగుతుంది; బ్రాహ్మణులు సత్యమే పలుకుతారు. రాజులు సత్యంతోనే నిలబడతారు; సత్యంతోనే భూమి ధరించబడింది।
