Praise of the Sacred Geography of Mathurā

ऊर्ध्वबाहुर्निराहारस्तताप परमं तपः॥ साग्रं संवत्सरं देवि ततः काममवाप्तवान्॥

ūrdhvabāhur nirāhāras tatāpa paramaṁ tapaḥ || sāgraṁ saṁvatsaraṁ devi tataḥ kāmam avāptavān ||

చేతులను పైకెత్తి, నిరాహారంగా ఉండి అతడు పరమ తపస్సు చేశాడు. ఓ దేవీ, సంపూర్ణ ఒక సంవత్సరం అనంతరం అతడు తన కోరిన ఫలాన్ని పొందాడు.
