अमावस्या यदा पुष्ये रौद्रेऽथार्क्षे पुनर्वसौ । द्वादशाब्दं तथा तृप्तिं प्रयान्ति पितरोऽर्च्चिताः ॥ १३.३९ ॥
amāvasyā yadā puṣye raudre ’thārkṣe punarvasau | dvādaśābdaṃ tathā tṛptiṃ prayānti pitaro ’rccitāḥ || 13.39 ||
అమావాస్య పుష్య, రౌద్ర, ఆర్క్ష లేదా పునర్వసు నక్షత్రంలో వచ్చినప్పుడు, విధిగా ఆరాధింపబడిన పితరులు పన్నెండు సంవత్సరాల తృప్తిని పొందుతారు।
