Varaha Purana 128.22 — Adhyaya 128, Shloka 22

Rites for the comb, collyrium, and mirror; initiations for the four social orders; and the Gaṇāntikā vow/insignia

एवं दीक्षा तु वैश्यानां मम मार्गानुसारिणाम् ॥ येन मुच्यन्ति सुश्रोणि घोरसंसारसागरात् ॥

evaṁ dīkṣā tu vaiśyānāṁ mama mārgānusāriṇām || yena mucyanti suśroṇi ghora-saṁsāra-sāgarāt ||

నా మార్గాన్ని అనుసరించే వైశ్యులకు దీక్ష ఇలాంటిదే; దీని ద్వారా, ఓ సుశ్రోణి, వారు భయంకరమైన సంసారసాగరంనుండి విముక్తి పొందుతారు।
