मन्त्रः— एवं वरुणः पातु शिष्य ते वपतः शिरः ॥ जलेन विष्णुयुक्तेन दीक्षा संसारमोक्षणम् ॥
mantraḥ— evaṃ varuṇaḥ pātu śiṣya te vapataḥ śiraḥ || jalena viṣṇuyuktena dīkṣā saṃsāramokṣaṇam ||
మంత్రం— ఈ విధంగా, హే శిష్యా, ముండనం చేయబడుచున్న నీ శిరస్సును వరుణుడు రక్షించుగాక. విష్ణుయుక్తమైన (విష్ణుపావన) జలంతో దీక్ష సంసారబంధ విమోచనమగును.
