Description of the Brāhmaṇa Initiation Procedure

Dīkṣā-sūtra

द्वे द्वे औदुम्बरस्य पत्रे वेदिमध्ये तु स्थापयेत् ॥ क्षुरं चैव वरारोहे जलपूर्णं च भाजनम् ॥

dve dve audumbarasya patre vedimadhye tu sthāpayet || kṣuraṃ caiva varārohe jalapūrṇaṃ ca bhājanam ||

వేదిక మధ్యలో ఉదుంబర వృక్షపు రెండు రెండు ఆకులను స్థాపించాలి; మరియు ఓ సుందరీ! క్షురం (ఉస్తరా) అలాగే నీటితో నిండిన పాత్రను కూడా (ఉంచాలి).
