अन्यत्सुरासुरमयं त्वं समुद्रस्य मन्थने । धृतवानसि कौर्म्येण मन्दरं मधुसूदन ॥ १.७ ॥

anyat surāsuramayaṁ tvaṁ samudrasya manthane | dhṛtavān asi kaurmyeṇa mandaraṁ madhusūdana || 1.7 ||

మరొక సమయంలో దేవాసురులతో కూడిన సముద్రమథనంలో, ఓ మధుసూదన, నీవు కూర్మరూపం ధరించి మందరపర్వతాన్ని ఆధారంగా ధరించితివి।
