Paingala Upanishad 27 — Verse 27

यदा यात्युन्मनीभावस्तदा तत्परमं पदम्। यत्रयत्र मनो याति तत्रतत्र परं पदम्॥२७॥

IAST Transliteration

yadā yāty unmanī-bhāvas tadā tat paramaṃ padam | yatra yatra mano yāti tatra tatra paraṃ padam ||27||

Translation

ఉన్మనీ-భావం సిద్ధించినప్పుడు అదే పరమ పదం. మనస్సు ఎక్కడెక్కడికి వెళ్తుందో అక్కడక్కడే పరమ పదం ప్రకాశిస్తుంది.

Academic Translation

When the state of unmanī is attained, then that is the supreme abode. Wherever the mind goes, there—there is the supreme abode.
