सप्तमं पिचुनामेति सप्तैवं वदनानि मे । तेभ्योऽजं ब्रह्मणे दत्तं पिचुवक्त्रं तु विष्णवे
saptamaṃ picunāmeti saptaivaṃ vadanāni me | tebhyo'jaṃ brahmaṇe dattaṃ picuvaktraṃ tu viṣṇave
ఏడవది ‘పిచు’ అనే నామముగలది—ఇలా నాకు ఏడు ముఖములు. వాటిలో ‘అజ’ ముఖము బ్రహ్మకు దత్తమైంది; ‘పిచు’ ముఖము విష్ణువుకు దత్తమైంది.
