ईश्वर उवाच । शृणु देवि रहस्यं तु कर्द मालसमुद्भवम् । गूढं ब्रह्मर्षिसर्वस्वं न देयं कस्यचित्त्वया
īśvara uvāca | śṛṇu devi rahasyaṃ tu karda mālasamudbhavam | gūḍhaṃ brahmarṣisarvasvaṃ na deyaṃ kasyacittvayā
ఈశ్వరుడు పలికెను—హే దేవి! కర్దమాల ఉద్భవానికి సంబంధించిన ఈ రహస్యాన్ని విను; ఇది గూఢోపదేశం, బ్రహ్మర్షుల సర్వస్వం—నీవు దీనిని ఎవరికైనా వెల్లడించకూడదు।
