दैत्यानामधिपो देवि विष्णुना प्रभविष्णुना । कृत्वा वर्षशतं युद्धं तलस्वामी ततोऽभवत्
daityānāmadhipo devi viṣṇunā prabhaviṣṇunā | kṛtvā varṣaśataṃ yuddhaṃ talasvāmī tato'bhavat
ఓ దేవీ! సర్వశక్తిమంతుడైన ప్రభు విష్ణుతో వంద సంవత్సరాలు యుద్ధం చేసి, దైత్యాధిపతి అప్పుడు ‘తలస్వామి’ అని ప్రసిద్ధి పొందెను.
