भित्त्वा वेगाद्धरापृष्ठं प्रविष्टाथ महीतलम् । यदायदाभवच्छ्रांता दह्यते वाडवाग्निना । तदातदा मर्त्यलोके याति प्रत्यक्षतां नदी
bhittvā vegāddharāpṛṣṭhaṃ praviṣṭātha mahītalam | yadāyadābhavacchrāṃtā dahyate vāḍavāgninā | tadātadā martyaloke yāti pratyakṣatāṃ nadī
వేగంతో భూమి పృష్ఠాన్ని చీల్చి ఆమె భూగర్భంలో ప్రవేశించింది. ఎప్పుడెప్పుడైతే ఆమె శ్రాంతమై వాడవ అగ్నిచే దహింపబడుతుందో, అప్పుడప్పుడే ఆ నది మర్త్యలోకంలో మళ్లీ ప్రత్యక్షమవుతుంది.
