स्थानेष्वन्येषु विप्राणां वृद्धरूपी पितामहः । युक्तं तदुन्नतस्थानं सदा च ब्रह्मणः प्रियम्

Transliteration

sthāneṣvanyeṣu viprāṇāṃ vṛddharūpī pitāmahaḥ | yuktaṃ tadunnatasthānaṃ sadā ca brahmaṇaḥ priyam

Translation

హే విప్రులారా, ఇతర స్థలాలలో పితామహ బ్రహ్ముడు వృద్ధరూపంలో ఉంటాడు. అందువల్ల అది ‘ఉన్నతస్థానం’ అని పిలవడం సముచితం; అది ఎల్లప్పుడూ బ్రహ్మునకు ప్రియమైనది।
