ईश्वर उवाच । शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि यदि पृच्छसि मां शुभे । आस्तिकाः श्रद्दधानाश्च भवंतीति मतिर्मम
īśvara uvāca | śṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi yadi pṛcchasi māṃ śubhe | āstikāḥ śraddadhānāśca bhavaṃtīti matirmama
ఈశ్వరుడు పలికెను—హే దేవీ, వినుము; హే శుభే, నీవు నన్ను అడుగుచున్నావు గనుక నేను వివరించెదను. నీవు ఆస్తికురాలవు, శ్రద్ధగలదానివని నా మతి.
