yasmāttvaṃ maṃtramekāgro dhyāyanvalmīkamāśritaḥ | tasmādvālmīkināmā tvaṃ bhaviṣyasi mahītale

Translation

నీవు వల్మీకాన్ని (చీమల పుట్ట) ఆశ్రయించి ఏకాగ్రచిత్తంతో మంత్రాన్ని ధ్యానించినందున, భూమిపై నీవు ‘వాల్మీకి’ అనే నామంతో ప్రసిద్ధి చెందుతావు.
