Transliteration

puruṣottamanāmāḍhyaṃ kṣetraṃ ca dhanuṣāṃ śatam | tasminkṣetre sa cāpaśyatpaṃca pretānsudāruṇān

Translation

ఆ ప్రాంతం ‘పురుషోత్తమ’ అనే నామంతో ప్రసిద్ధి, వంద ధనుస్సుల మేర విస్తరించి ఉండెను. ఆ క్షేత్రంలో ఆయన ఐదు అత్యంత భయంకరమైన ప్రేతులను చూచెను.
