ततः प्रभृति तत्क्षेत्रं प्रभासमिति विश्रुतम् । निष्प्रभस्य प्रभा दत्ता प्रभासं तेन चोच्यते
tataḥ prabhṛti tatkṣetraṃ prabhāsamiti viśrutam | niṣprabhasya prabhā dattā prabhāsaṃ tena cocyate
అప్పటినుంచి ఆ క్షేత్రం ‘ప్రభాస’ అని ప్రసిద్ధి చెందింది. కాంతి లేనివానికి కాంతి దానమిచ్చినందున అది ‘ప్రభాస’ అని పిలువబడింది.
