tasya pitrā sa dṛṣṭastu sāmudrajño viduttamaḥ | hāsyasya kāraṇaṃ pṛṣṭo vismayānvitacetasā

అప్పుడు బాలుని తండ్రి సాముద్రికశాస్త్రజ్ఞుడైన ఆ ఉత్తమ విద్వాంసుని చూచెను. ఆశ్చర్యభరితమైన మనస్సుతో అతని నవ్వుకు కారణమును అడిగెను.
