वेदानुयोगाद्यो दद्याद्ब्राह्मणाय प्रतिग्रहम् । स पूर्वं नरकं याति ब्राह्मणस्तदनन्तरम्

Transliteration

vedānuyogādyo dadyādbrāhmaṇāya pratigraham | sa pūrvaṃ narakaṃ yāti brāhmaṇastadanantaram

Translation

వేదప్రయోగానికి ప్రతిఫలంగా (లావాదేవీగా) బ్రాహ్మణునికి దానం ఇచ్చేవాడు ముందుగా నరకానికి వెళ్తాడు; దానిని స్వీకరించే బ్రాహ్మణుడు తరువాత వెళ్తాడు।
