अकामतः कृते पापे प्रायश्चित्तं विदुर्बुधाः । कामकारकृतेऽप्याहुरेके श्रुतिनिदर्शनात्

Transliteration

akāmataḥ kṛte pāpe prāyaścittaṃ vidurbudhāḥ | kāmakārakṛte'pyāhureke śrutinidarśanāt

Translation

అజ్ఞానవశాత్తు చేసిన పాపానికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తం విధేయమని పండితులు తెలుసుకొందురు. అలాగే శ్రుతి-సూచనలను ఆధారంగా చేసుకొని, ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా చేసిన కర్మకూ కొందరు ప్రాయశ్చిత్తం చెప్పుదురు.
