ज्योत्स्नाभिर्भगवान्सोमो जगतो हितकाम्यया । ततस्तस्मै ददौ राज्यं ब्रह्मा ब्रह्मविदां वरः

Transliteration

jyotsnābhirbhagavānsomo jagato hitakāmyayā | tatastasmai dadau rājyaṃ brahmā brahmavidāṃ varaḥ

Translation

భగవాన్ సోముడు తన జ్యోత్స్నలతో, జగత్తు హితాన్ని కోరుతూ, సృష్టి క్షేమాన్ని సాధించాడు. అందుకే బ్రహ్మవిదులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన బ్రహ్మ అతనికి రాజ్యాధికారాన్ని ప్రసాదించాడు.
