त्विषिमान्धर्मपुत्रस्तु सोमो देवो वरस्तु सः । शीतरश्मिः समुत्पन्नः कृत्तिकासु निशाचरः
tviṣimāndharmaputrastu somo devo varastu saḥ | śītaraśmiḥ samutpannaḥ kṛttikāsu niśācaraḥ
సోముడు తేజోవంతుడు—ధర్ముని కుమారుడూ, శ్రేష్ఠ దేవుడూ. శీతల కిరణాలతో కృత్తికలలో జన్మించి, రాత్రివేళ సంచరించేవాడయ్యాడు.
