चतुर्भिर्भगवान्विष्णुर्द्वाभ्यां ब्रह्मा तथा रविः । अष्टादशपुराणेषु शेषेषु भगवाञ्छिवः

Transliteration

caturbhirbhagavānviṣṇurdvābhyāṃ brahmā tathā raviḥ | aṣṭādaśapurāṇeṣu śeṣeṣu bhagavāñchivaḥ

Translation

పద్దెనిమిది పురాణములలో నాలుగింటిలో భగవాన్ విష్ణువు ప్రధానంగా స్తుతింపబడెను; రెండింటిలో బ్రహ్మ, అలాగే రెండింటిలో రవి (సూర్యుడు); మిగిలినవాటిలో భగవాన్ శివుడు।
