ఇట్లు శ్రీ స్కాంద మహాపురాణంలోని ఏకాశీతి-సాహస్రీ సంహితలో, సప్తమ ప్రభాసఖండంలోని ప్రథమ ‘ప్రభాసక్షేత్ర మహాత్మ్య’ భాగంలో ‘మంకీశ్వర మహాత్మ్య వర్ణనం’ అనే నామంతో 184వ అధ్యాయం సమాప్తమైంది.
