सावित्र्युवाच । सकृज्जल्पंति राजानः सकृज्जल्पंति ब्राह्मणाः । सकृत्कन्या प्रदीयेत त्रीण्येतानि सकृत्सकृत्
sāvitryuvāca | sakṛjjalpaṃti rājānaḥ sakṛjjalpaṃti brāhmaṇāḥ | sakṛtkanyā pradīyeta trīṇyetāni sakṛtsakṛt
సావిత్రి పలికింది—రాజులు ప్రతిజ్ఞావాక్యాన్ని ఒక్కసారే పలుకుతారు, బ్రాహ్మణులూ ఒక్కసారే వచనం ఇస్తారు; కన్యాదానమూ ఒక్కసారే జరుగుతుంది—ఇవి మూడు ‘ఒక్కసారే’ అనే నియమం.
