Transliteration

sāvitryuvāca | āsīcchālveṣu dharmātmā kṣatriyaḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ | dyumatsena iti khyāto daivādandho vabhūva saḥ

Translation

సావిత్రి చెప్పింది—శాల్వులలో ఒక ధర్మాత్ముడైన క్షత్రియుడు, భూపతి రాజు ఉండేవాడు; అతడు ‘ద్యుమత్సేన’ అని ప్రసిద్ధుడు. దైవవశాత్తు అతడు అంధుడయ్యాడు.
