ईश्वर उवाच । इत्युक्ता ऋषयो देवि लज्जयाऽनतकन्धराः । प्रत्यालोच्य यथान्यायं वसिष्ठं समनूद्वहन्

Transliteration

īśvara uvāca | ityuktā ṛṣayo devi lajjayā'natakandharāḥ | pratyālocya yathānyāyaṃ vasiṣṭhaṃ samanūdvahan

Translation

ఈశ్వరుడు అన్నాడు—దేవీ! ఇలా చెప్పబడగానే ఋషులు లజ్జతో తల వంచారు. తరువాత ధర్మోచితంగా ఆలోచించి వశిష్ఠుని (ఆ మార్గాన్ని స్వీకరించమని) ప్రేరేపించారు.
