yoginī yogasadbhāvā yogagamyā guhāśayā | kātyāyanī umā śarvā hyaparṇeti prakīrtitā

Translation

ఆమె యోగినీ; యోగమే ఆమె సద్భావం. యోగమార్గం ద్వారా ఆమె పొందబడుతుంది, హృదయ-గుహలో నివసిస్తుంది. ఆమె కాత్యాయనీ, ఉమా, శర్వా; ‘అపర్ణా’ అని కూడా ప్రసిద్ధి.
