उपवासो बलाज्जातो ह्यन्नाभावाद्वयोरपि । पद्मैरेभिर्हरः पूज्यो द्वाभ्यामेवाद्य निश्चयम्

Transliteration

upavāso balājjāto hyannābhāvādvayorapi | padmairebhirharaḥ pūjyo dvābhyāmevādya niścayam

Translation

మన ఇద్దరికీ అన్నాభావం వల్ల బలవశాత్తు ఈ ఉపవాసం ఏర్పడింది. కాబట్టి నేడు నిశ్చయంగా ఈ పద్మాలతో మన ఇద్దరం హరుడు (శివుడు)ను పూజిద్దాం।
