Transliteration

mṛkaṃḍopi sutaṃ jñātvā tataḥ kṣīṇāyuṣaṃ nṛpa | paṃcavārṣikamapyārttaścakāropanayānvitam

Translation

ఓ రాజా, మృకండుడు కూడా తన కుమారుడు అప్పటికి అల్పాయువు అని గ్రహించి, ఆందోళనతో, ఐదు సంవత్సరాల వయసులోనే అతనికి ఉపనయన సంస్కారం నిర్వహించాడు.
