भूयोभूयः परिष्वज्य सभार्यः पृष्टवांस्तदा । क्व गतः स्वाश्रमाद्वत्स चिरात्कस्मादिहाऽगतः
bhūyobhūyaḥ pariṣvajya sabhāryaḥ pṛṣṭavāṃstadā | kva gataḥ svāśramādvatsa cirātkasmādihā'gataḥ
మళ్లీ మళ్లీ ఆలింగనం చేసి, భార్యతో కూడ అతడు అడిగెను—“వత్సా! నీవు మా ఆశ్రమం నుండి ఎక్కడికి వెళ్లావు? ఇంతకాలానికి ఇక్కడికి ఎందుకు వచ్చావు?”
