Transliteration

uparyupari devānāmanyonyātiśaye sthitam | naraiḥ puṇyaphalaṃ svarge mūlacchedena bhujyate

Translation

దేవులలో పైపై స్థాయిల్లో ఒకరు మరొకరిని మించి నిలుస్తారు; మనుష్యులు స్వర్గంలో పుణ్యఫలాన్ని అనుభవిస్తారు, కాని అది పుణ్యమూలాన్ని కోసుకుంటూ అనుభవించబడుతుంది.
