परमायुः स्थिता षष्टिस्तदप्यस्ति न निष्ठितम् । तस्य यावद्भवेदायुर्देहिनः पूर्वकर्म भिः

paramāyuḥ sthitā ṣaṣṭistadapyasti na niṣṭhitam | tasya yāvadbhavedāyurdehinaḥ pūrvakarma bhiḥ

పరమాయువు అరవై సంవత్సరాలని చెబుతారు; అయినా అది కూడా నిశ్చితం కాదు. దేహధారి జీవితం పూర్వకర్మల వల్ల ఎంతవరకు నిర్ణయించబడుతుందో అంతవరకే నిలుస్తుంది.
