त्रिधा नौमित्तिकं प्रोक्तं सदा होमविवर्जितम् । इति प्रोक्ताः प्रकारास्ते त्रैविध्यमभिधीयते
tridhā naumittikaṃ proktaṃ sadā homavivarjitam | iti proktāḥ prakārāste traividhyamabhidhīyate
నైమిత్తిక దానం త్రివిధమని చెప్పబడింది; అది నిత్యంగా హోమం తప్పనిసరి కాకుండానే చేయబడునని కూడా పేర్కొనబడింది. ఈ విధంగా చెప్పిన విధానాలే త్రైవిధ్యమని అంటారు।
