मनोरथोपदेष्टा च कुत्रचित्क्वापि नेक्षितः । कदाचिद्दैवयोगात्स दमनो नाम तापसः
manorathopadeṣṭā ca kutracitkvāpi nekṣitaḥ | kadāciddaivayogātsa damano nāma tāpasaḥ
హృదయాభిలాషకు మార్గం చూపే ఉపదేశకుడు అతనికి ఎక్కడా కనబడలేదు; కానీ ఒకసారి దైవయోగవశాత్తు ‘దమన’ అనే తపస్వి దర్శనమిచ్చాడు.
