मुक्तिलक्ष्मी महापीठ मणिस्तच्चरणाब्जयोः । कर्णिकेयं ततः प्राहुर्यां जना मणिकर्णिकाम्

muktilakṣmī mahāpīṭha maṇistaccaraṇābjayoḥ | karṇikeyaṃ tataḥ prāhuryāṃ janā maṇikarṇikām

Translation

ఆయన పద్మపాదాల వద్ద ముక్తిలక్ష్మీ అనే మహాపీఠం స్థితమై ఉంది; అక్కడ మణి కూడా ఉంది. అందువల్ల జనులు ఆ స్థలాన్ని ‘కర్ణిక’ (కర్ణాభరణం) అని పలుకుతారు; అందుకే అది ‘మణికర్ణికా’గా ప్రసిద్ధి చెందింది।
