Transliteration

caṃḍakopastato devīṃ khaḍgacarmadharo'bhyagāt | khaḍgena siṃhamājaghne devyā vāhaṃ mahāsuraḥ

Translation

అప్పుడు ఖడ్గం, కవచం (ఢాలు) ధరించిన చండకోపుడు దేవి వైపు ముందుకు వచ్చాడు; ఆ మహాసురుడు ఖడ్గంతో దేవి వాహనమైన సింహాన్ని కొట్టాడు।
