तं पादमूले पतितं स्वपुत्रं विवेद नासौ पृथिवीपतिः क्षणम् । प्रबोधितोऽमात्यजनैः कथंचिदुत्थाय क्लिन्नेन हृदालिलिंग

Transliteration

taṃ pādamūle patitaṃ svaputraṃ viveda nāsau pṛthivīpatiḥ kṣaṇam | prabodhito'mātyajanaiḥ kathaṃcidutthāya klinnena hṛdāliliṃga

Translation

తన పాదమూలంలో పడిపోయిన తన కుమారుణ్ని ఆ భూపతి క్షణమాత్రం గుర్తించలేకపోయాడు. మంత్రులు ఏదో విధంగా మేల్కొలిపినప్పుడు, అతడు లేచి దుఃఖంతో తడిసిన హృదయంతో అతనిని ఆలింగనం చేసుకున్నాడు.
