ब्रह्मोवाच । तालमेघेन वो मध्ये बली तेन समः सुराः । विना माधवदेवेन साध्यो मे नैव दानवः

Transliteration

brahmovāca | tālameghena vo madhye balī tena samaḥ surāḥ | vinā mādhavadevena sādhyo me naiva dānavaḥ

Translation

బ్రహ్ముడు పలికెను—మీ మధ్య తాళమేఘుడు బలవంతుడు; పరాక్రమంలో దేవులతో సముడు. మాధవదేవుడు (విష్ణువు) లేకుండా ఆ దానవుడు నాకు వశమగడు।
