sthāpitaṃ gautamenaiva lokānāṃ hitakāmyayā | svargasopānarūpaṃ tu tīrthaṃ puṃsāṃ yudhiṣṭhira

లోకాల హితాన్ని కోరుతూ గౌతముడే దీనిని స్థాపించాడు. ఓ యుధిష్ఠిరా, ఈ తీర్థము పురుషులకు స్వర్గారోహణ సొపానమువలె ఉంటుంది.
