नीरोगो रूपवांश्चैव विद्याढ्यः सत्यवाक्शुचिः । गोपारेश्वरमाहात्म्यं मया ख्यातं युधिष्ठिर । गोदेहान्निःसृतं लिङ्गं नर्मदादक्षिणे तटे
nīrogo rūpavāṃścaiva vidyāḍhyaḥ satyavākśuciḥ | gopāreśvaramāhātmyaṃ mayā khyātaṃ yudhiṣṭhira | godehānniḥsṛtaṃ liṅgaṃ narmadādakṣiṇe taṭe
అతడు నిరోగి, రూపవంతుడు, విద్యాసంపన్నుడు, సత్యవాక్కు గలవాడు, శుచిగా ఉంటాడు. ఓ యుధిష్ఠిరా, గోపారేశ్వర మహాత్మ్యాన్ని నేను ప్రకటించాను—గోమాత దేహం నుండి ప్రదర్శితమైన ఆ లింగం నర్మదా దక్షిణ తీరంలో ఉంది.
