दानव उवाच । यदि मां नेच्छसे त्वद्य स्वातन्त्र्यं नावलम्बसे । ममापि च तदा हत्या सत्यं च शुभलोचने

Transliteration

dānava uvāca | yadi māṃ necchase tvadya svātantryaṃ nāvalambase | mamāpi ca tadā hatyā satyaṃ ca śubhalocane

Translation

దానవుడు అన్నాడు—నేడు నన్ను నీవు కోరుకోక, నీ స్వాతంత్ర్యాన్ని ఆశ్రయించకపోతే, నా వైపున కూడా హత్య జరుగుతుంది; ఓ శుభలోచనే, ఇది సత్యం.
