ततः पितुर्मतेनैव गङ्गातीरं गता सती । अवगाह्य तटे द्वे तु गङ्गायाः स नराधिप
tataḥ piturmatenaiva gaṅgātīraṃ gatā satī | avagāhya taṭe dve tu gaṅgāyāḥ sa narādhipa
ఆపై తండ్రి ఉపదేశానుసారంగా ఆ సతి గంగాతీరానికి వెళ్లింది. శుద్ధి నిమిత్తం గంగలో అవగాహన చేసి, హే నరాధిపా, గంగ యొక్క రెండు తీరాల వద్ద నిలిచింది।
