इत्येवमुक्तं तव धर्मसूनो दानं मया वैतरणीसमुत्थम् । शृणोति भक्त्या पठतीह सम्यक्स याति विष्णोः पदमप्रमेयम्

ధర్మసూనో! వైతరణీ-సంబంధమైన ఈ దానవిధిని నేను నీకు ఇలా ప్రకటించాను. ఎవడు భక్తితో విని, లేదా సక్రమంగా పఠిస్తాడో, వాడు విష్ణువின் అప్రమేయ ధామాన్ని పొందుతాడు.
