भूमेर्गन्धं तथा घ्राणं गौरवं मूर्तिमेव च । आत्मा गृह्णात्यजः पूर्वं तृतीये स्पन्दते च सः
bhūmergandhaṃ tathā ghrāṇaṃ gauravaṃ mūrtimeva ca | ātmā gṛhṇātyajaḥ pūrvaṃ tṛtīye spandate ca saḥ
పృథివీతత్త్వమునుండి గంధము, ఘ్రాణేంద్రియము, గౌరవము మరియు స్థూలమూర్తి ఉద్భవిస్తాయి. అజుడైన ఆత్మ మొదట ఇవి గ్రహించును; మూడవ నెలలో అతడు స్పందించి చలించుట మొదలుపెడతాడు।
