samāgatau tadā dṛṣṭau madhye jvalitapāvakau | puṇyapāpāni jantūnāṃ śrutismṛtyarthapāragau

అప్పుడు ఇద్దరు అక్కడికి వచ్చి, జ్వలించే అగ్నిమధ్య నిలిచినట్లు కనబడిరి. వారు జీవుల పుణ్యపాపాలను విచారించువారు, శ్రుతి-స్మృతి అర్థములలో పారంగతులు.
