Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Sthala Purana: Not a specific Jyotirliṅga episode; the verse generalizes the merit (phala-śruti) of mass liṅga-worship/installation as a sādhana leading to aiśvarya and śrī.
Significance: Encourages liṅga-arcana/pratiṣṭhā as a universally accessible merit-producing practice; frames Śiva-bhakti as surpassing/including deva-level prosperity.
Offering: pushpa
The verse teaches that concentrated devotion to Śiva in His Saguna form as the Liṅga generates immense puṇya and divine “aiśvarya,” indicating that the grace of Pati (Śiva) can elevate the devotee beyond ordinary limits into extraordinary auspiciousness and spiritual upliftment.
It explicitly praises Liṅga-upāsanā as a direct, tangible mode of Saguna Śiva worship, where repeated worship/establishment of liṅgas symbolizes sustained surrender and service (sevā) to Śiva, attracting His anugraha (grace).
The takeaway is repeated Liṅga-pūjā or Liṅga-pratiṣṭhā with steadfast devotion—ideally supported by Shaiva disciplines like japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and regular purity practices such as bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa, according to one’s capacity.
