पुरा किल सुराः सेंद्रा विवदंतः परस्परम् । असुरान्समरे जित्वा जेताहमहमित्युत
purā kila surāḥ seṃdrā vivadaṃtaḥ parasparam | asurānsamare jitvā jetāhamahamityuta
పూర్వకాలంలో ఇంద్రునితో కూడిన దేవతలు పరస్పరం వాదించుకొనిరి. సమరంలో అసురులను జయించి ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ—“జేత నేనే, నేనే!” అని పలికిరి.
