Dīkṣita
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Īśāna
The verse highlights satya (truthfulness) as a primary dharma: spiritual life in Shaiva tradition begins with moral clarity and truthful speech, which purifies the mind for devotion to Pati (Shiva).
Linga-worship in the Shiva Purana is sustained by inner purity—truth, restraint, and sincerity. This dialogue stresses truthful accountability, which supports authentic bhakti toward Saguna Shiva and steadiness in worship.
A practical takeaway is to adopt satya-vrata (a vow of truthful speech) alongside daily Shiva practices such as japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and maintaining mental honesty during meditation.
